Belief 01
You should never have to guess
Your books are kept current every week, or every business day on the Growth and Scale plans. Every month closes within five business days, with a balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statement.
“Excelled People For Excellent Services”
Why we exist
Why Excello exists comes down to one belief: people who excel at their work deserve to know exactly where their business stands.
So we keep your books current, close every month within five business days, and do it all inside the software you already own.
I had rather excel others in the knowledge of what is excellent, than in the extent of my power and dominion.
For a business, the knowledge of what is excellent starts with its own numbers.
The story
Three beliefs
Belief 01
Your books are kept current every week, or every business day on the Growth and Scale plans. Every month closes within five business days, with a balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statement.
Belief 02
Your books stay in your own QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo, where you hold the admin login. The AI that reads your transactions runs on Excello's own private servers, and your data is never sent to outside AI companies.
Belief 03
Software applies the Excello Rulebook every day, so a refund or a marketplace fee is booked the same way in March as in May, whoever works on your books. Experts check that work, correct what is wrong and ask you only what they cannot know, and a qualified accountant signs off each close.
Knowing where you stand
Four questions owners ask most, and where the answer sits in books Excello keeps.
| The question | Where the answer comes from |
|---|---|
| How much cash do we really have? | Every bank and card account reconciled weekly, or every business day on Growth and Scale |
| Did we make money last month? | A profit and loss statement with every close, within five business days of month-end |
| Who owes us, and whom do we owe? | Customer invoices and supplier bills tracked in your books, with aging reports on the Scale plan |
| Can we afford the next hire? | A balance sheet and cash flow statement every month, and a fractional CFO when you need a forecast |
Side by side
| What matters | Doing it yourself in software | Hiring a bookkeeper | A platform on its own ledger | Excello |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | You or your team | One employee | The provider, in its platform | Accounting experts, with daily automation and a qualified sign-off |
| Where the books live | Your software | Your software | The provider's ledger | Your own QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo |
| Review of the work | None built in | Depends on the person | Varies by provider | Every week or every business day, with a signed-off close |
| If you stop | Nothing to hand over | Knowledge leaves with the person | Your history has to be exported | Remove access; everything stays in place |
| Monthly cost | A subscription plus your time | About $4,223 at the US median wage, before benefits | A subscription or service fee | From $150 |

Software gives you a tool, and someone on your team still categorizes, reconciles and closes. Excello gives you finished books: software does the daily matching, and accountants check the work and close each month within five business days.
Three things. Excello works inside the QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo account you already own, so your ledger never moves. The Excello Rulebook does the repetitive work, which is how plans start from $150 a month. And the time it saves goes to people: ACCA, CA and CMA-trained experts review your books every week or every business day.
The Excello Rulebook is Excello's own set of rules for how transactions are booked. It covers payouts split into sales, fees, refunds and reserves, marketplace and payment fees, currencies, sales tax and VAT. Built from 7 years of industry experience, it is applied with Excello's own tools inside each client's QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo, and experts review what it produces before each month is closed.
Yes. The AI that reads your transactions runs on Excello's own private servers, and your data is never sent to outside AI companies. Your books stay in your own accounting software, where your team keeps the admin login.
Nothing changes for your books. They already live in your own accounting software, so you remove Excello's access and carry on with your full history, chart of accounts and admin login in place.
After a call and a written quote, onboarding is complete within one week of signing. Your software and accounts are connected, and your first month is closed within five business days of month-end as standard.
