Shopify accounting integrations that explain why a payout rarely matches the sales.
Excello runs Shopify accounting integrations for you: sales, discounts, fees, refunds and reserves from Shopify, Amazon and Noon are recorded daily, matched to every payout and reconciled inside your own QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo.
Stock quantities and cost of goods sold are kept in step, and the month closes within five business days as standard.
Every deposit traced back to the orders behind it.

Why Shopify accounting is harder than it looks
The payout puzzle
How Excello turns payouts into clean books
Four steps
-
Step 01
Recorded
Orders and settlements from Shopify, Amazon and Noon arrive every day. Every connection is checked daily.
-
Step 02
Split
Each payout is broken into gross sales, discounts, fees, refunds and reserves.
-
Step 03
Matched
The net amount is matched to the deposit in your bank, and stock and cost of goods sold are updated.
-
Step 04
Reconciled
At month-end, every channel, reserve and inventory balance is agreed and the month closed within five business days as standard.

What arrives
Shopify accounting apps move orders or payout summaries into your ledger. Shopify accounting software on its own leaves the splitting and checking to someone, and that is the part Excello does.
| Channel | What arrives | Split into |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Orders, discounts, refunds, fees and payouts | Gross sales, discounts, refunds and payment fees, matched to each payout |
| Amazon | Settlement reports with marketplace fees, refunds and reserves | Sales, referral and fulfillment fees, refunds, reserves and advertising charges |
| Noon | Settlements with marketplace fees and refunds | Sales, marketplace fees and refunds, matched to each settlement |
| WooCommerce, Etsy, TikTok Shop, eBay, Walmart and others | Exports and reports on a regular schedule | The same split, reconciled at every close |

Frequently asked questions
What are Shopify accounting integrations?
Shopify accounting integrations connect your store to accounting software, so orders, fees, refunds and payouts reach your books without retyping. Excello runs them into your QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo, with accountants checking every payout.
Why does my Shopify payout not match my sales?
Shopify pays out after deducting processing fees, refunds and adjustments, and a payout can cover several days of orders. Recording gross sales and each deduction separately makes the payout match the bank deposit.
How does Amazon seller data reach the books?
Excello connects to your Amazon seller account and records orders, fees and refunds daily. When each settlement is paid, it is split into sales, fees, refunds, advertising and reserves in your QuickBooks, Xero or Odoo, and matched to the deposit.
Can Excello handle other marketplaces?
Shopify, Amazon and Noon are connected directly. Sales from WooCommerce, Etsy, TikTok Shop, eBay, Walmart and other stores are handled from their exports and reports on a regular schedule, and reconciled at every month-end close.
How do I give my accountant access to Shopify?
Shopify lets the store owner add staff or collaborator accounts with only the permissions you choose. You can remove that access at any time, and the store and its data stay under your ownership.
Does Excello track inventory for ecommerce stores?
Yes. Stock quantities and item records are kept up to date alongside inventory value and cost of goods sold, using the sales, returns and purchases from each of your channels.
